Details : PBK NAVY BED / PBK STAR SHEETS / PBK STRIPED RUGBY DUVET
PBK SPORTS QUILT
Ryan's Baseball Jammies : MUD PIE

We had a "hay-day" in Pottery Barn Kids putting colors together for Ryan's bed! Gosh I love that store.

We FINALLY moved Ryan to a BIG BOY BED about 2 weeks ago!
His room has a bed and a dresser right now and that's about it, HA Once I get a few pictures on the walls and some bookshelves, it will be perfect.
( I will do a full post of his room once we get it all finished. )
Ry LOVES his room so much.
He gets so proud when people come over and he gets to show them his "big boy room".

These pictures scream "childhood" to me.
I love capturing little moments that make me hear his laugh through the pictures.
Let them be little.
Please don't ever grow up my sweet sweet baby boy!

Aaron and I were just talking about how much we love Sunday afternoons.
We have church in the morning and then get 4 hours to cuddle, talk, nap, and hang out as a family.
It is the ONLY time of the week there are no chores and no distractions, no appointments and nothing to be to.

Just "us" time.

I find myself getting excited for each coming week being that much closer to meeting our new little babe,
but also, at the same time, wishing time would slow down.
We have had almost 3 years with just the 3 of us, and this time is so precious.
Aaron and I feel so lucky to each have such a special relationship with Ryan.
He's been our baby for so long! It's all we've ever known.

Life will definitely change when a new little one comes into the world,
( just when we finally feel like we are getting this parenting thing down HA )
so we soaking in every moment as a family of 3.

Father's Day celebrating our favorite person.
Aaron is what makes our world go round.
He is everything to me and it is clear that Ry IDEALIZES his daddy.
They are the sweetest duo ever and we ( Ry, Baby, and I ) are the luckiest to have him forever.

The hardest part of Father's Day was not being able to give my own daddy a hug!
Living far away from my family is no fun on holidays!
I'm a daddy's girl through and through and I'm so grateful for these hardworking men in my life!! ( my dad, my husband, and my Father-in-Law )
They deserve to be spoiled and celebrated!

Please note one of Ryan's signs for his daddy.
His stick figures!? KILL ME.
I told him my favorite part was the hair on the guy on the right.  It looks like a rocker dude.

2 things.

#1. I cut like 2-3 inches off Ry's hair this weekend!!  ^^ It was SOO long and ready for a little trim but somehow he just looks so old to me now!?

#2. Ryan and his shark / whale obsession is getting out of hand.
My mother-in-law kept Aaron's sharks and whales from when Aaron was little and Ryan is obsessed!
Like Father, like son.

Today Ryan told me he wanted a Goblin Shark for his birthday?
Yes a Goblin shark ( did you even know those existed? Me neither until his shark book came into our life )
So if anyone knows where to find a toy Goblin Shark, please send me suggestions HA

I wasn't kidding when I said Ryan knew all the different types of sharks -
Ryan has a book that he has spent HOURS with my husband reading that tells you about every kind of shark, and what they eat, do, etc.
( If my husband wasn't a lawyer, I'm convinced he would have been a marine biologist HA the obsession must be genetic )

Pool lovin with my little tan islander.

A baby bump and Herbert our giraffe just chillin in the background.
I guess his new home is in Aaron and I's room??
HA He will soon be in the nursery. :)

Random, but this is hanging on our fridge and was our ultrasound of our sweet baby #2 at just 10 weeks along.
TEN WEEKS!!!

I had a few ultrasounds early on so I was able to see our babe develop week by week - Gosh, the human body is so incredible to me!

Look at those little legs!?

Ry goes to work with daddy while I go to my doctor appointment and hear our sweet baby's heartbeat!
( Ryan is holding his Great White Shark (( it's not just a "shark" it's a "GREAT WHITE SHARK", he will correct you, ))  and he's doing puzzles on the i-pad HA )

My father-in-law payed Ryan a few bucks for coming into the office for an hour and Ryan thought he was one cool dude adding to his piggy bank.

Aaron and his dad just moved law offices to a different building, and I have yet to come in and "Karina-ify" his new office HA.
It is in DEEP need of a lady's decor touch and a few things hung on walls HA

( 26 weeks TOMORROW!!  ^^ )
(( top is from Pea in the Pod not available anymore but they have cute other maternity clothes! ))

That sweet sound of my baby's heartbeat will NEVER get old.
Even though my tummy is bouncing up and down 90 percent of the day because this baby MOVES like CRAZY!,  I somehow still get so nervous going to my appointments.
My doctor tells me it's completely normal to be nervous, just because of past experience and the awful, terrible, horrible dream that not finding a heartbeat could ever happen again.

But gosh, I NEVER EVER take that strong heartbeat for granted.
These babies are so precious and such blessings!
This baby is so loved and wanted!

Added a few miniature clothes to my wash day this week.
How come everything is so cute in miniature form!?
Also… I have never felt so surrounded by boy clothes in my life HA.

Bring on the blue, baby.
14 more weeks!!

How Far!? - 24 weeks

How big is baby: The size of a Cantaloupe! WHAT THE!!!? Babe, you're getting so big!!!

Craving: A dairy queen Reese's Peanut Butter cup blizzard. My husband drove to get me one the other day - sweetest man. Such a trooper.

Gender: BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY.

Random: This pregnancy is going so much faster than Ryan's! It's flying. I definitely crave sweeter things than I did with Ryan so the whole "crave sweeter things when having a girl" wives tale doesn't work over here! We are all about the blue right now :)
My hair is growing like a weed and a half. Two words - "PRE-NATEL VITAMINS". I feel like a Lion. I still haven't found a lady I absolutely love to cut / trim my hair here in Houston, so I am holding out until I go to visit Utah in a month and a week. HA I tried to give myself front "layers" the other day in the bathroom ( because they have all grown out so long! ) and hair was EVERYWHERE. My husband came home from work to me trying to cut my hair and was like "HONEY!, what are you trying to do!?"? HA I think the heat and being pregnant made me want to go crazy and I just grabbed the scissors and started cutting layers. ( crazy pregnant lady ) I only made it to one side of my head. So half of my top layers are about 4 inches shorter than the other side. - Awesome.
We went to Austin this past weekend and went to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels - BIGGEST water park I have ever seen! The only big slide I rode was the "Dragon Slayer Coaster"on a double tube with my husband, which may or may not have been the best idea pregnant HA. No, it didn't have crazy drops ( I would never do something that would put my sweet baby in danger ) but it did go a little fast for a waterslide. I think I have just become a chicken on rides ever since having Ryan. Even a few of the baby slides I went down with Ryan made my tummy jump.

How's that for randoms?!

Feeling: So far so good :) I do try and workout 6 days a week and it makes all the difference in my energy level and happy patient mom level :)
Just happy and really really really excited to meet this little babe in 15 weeks.

We have been sick for almost 3 weeks total. It's been so awful!
Pregnancy and sickness don't mesh AT ALL.
My husband got it first ( he's to blame ), then naturally ONE WEEK later - I got it…
Aaron and I are terrible! We share EVERYTHING ( food, drinks, etc. ) and trying to stay away from his germs is impossible HA so I knew I was bound to get it.

I completely lost my voice and couldn't talk for 3 days
( I don't think that has ever happened before in my life ) - and if you know me personally, you would understand why not being able to talk for 3 days made me cry everyday because I love talking so much.
I had to mouth everything I wanted to say to Aaron, he was the only one that could understand me so he was my spokesman HA

Just when we thought Ryan was the warrior and missed it altogether… BAM.
One week later Ryan is sick.
So we all took our "week" of sickness.
I guess it's better we didn't all get it at one time??!

HA Anyways, HALLELUJAH!!
Here's to healthy bodies and kicking the aches, fevers, chills, and soar throats to the curb.

They even sleep the same. HA.
Sweetest moment.
I love my boys. ( can't wait to add one more mini to the mix )

Now that we are feeling better we live at splash pads and pools.
HELLO Houston heat.
I forgot how fun it is to be pregnant in this weather ;) August is going to be awesome HA.
Ryan makes it all better with baby bump kisses.

Ryan's happy place ^^

So apparently my husband has this hidden unknown talent of making play-doh into anything Ryan tells him to.

Exhibit A ^^ A Hammer head shark.
Seriously!? How can you do this without looking at a picture and just know where every fin goes? You are killing me Aaron.

So Ryan and I are playing play-doh the other morning and Ryan's like, "Mommy make me a hammer head shark please?"
( yes he is OBSESSED with sharks and knows what all of the different sharks are called )
Awesome.
No child, unfortunately I'm not that cool, but I will make you a cookie out of play-doh.

2 of my favorite people had birthday's this week.
( 1 day apart - how cute it that!? )

How Ry eats his cake.
Classy.

Ryan loves birthday's so much. He already has a countdown going for his 3rd birthday in August!
I'm dreading the fact he's going to be THREE!! My baby!!

So here's to JUNE and SUMMER!!
We have a couple fun little adventures coming up before baby comes and we are pretty excited!
Bring on the 100 degree Houston weather and humidity :)
HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!
