After personally losing a couple of pregnancies, by unfortunately experiencing 2 of those conditions listed,
this topic is very sensitive to my little family and very dear to my heart.
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
For me, not only does this give us an opportunity to raise awareness on this topic, but it also gives women who have, or have yet to experience these issues a feeling of comfort that there are many others who have gone through these same trials and difficulties.
In observance of this month, I wanted to highlight a product that not only looks great but also, for the month of October, will be giving part of their proceeds to this great cause.
This beyond darling
sparkly silver headband I have on is called a
Coco Band.
I have run with it ever since it arrived in my mailbox.
It keeps all those baby hairs and flyaways tucked back so wonderfully.
They are non slip headbands that are for running or every day use.
I have never been able to wear headbands because I have serious headache problem :)
But I can honestly say that I have been headache free with these comfortable cute headbands.
I have this
THIS sparkly silver one as well as
THIS hot pink sparkly one and I LOVE them.
I am also "oooowing" and "awwwing" over these adorable
Mommy and Me headbands she sells!
You can find Coco Bands ETSY shop
HERE as well as their Instagram account
HERE.
From now until Sunday October 19th you can get 15% off your Coco Bands purchase with the code MRANDMRS .
A way to look cute and donate a little to a good cause :)
I know people experience the pain of loosing a pregnancy or a newborn child daily and my heart hurts for all of you.
Life has had a few more sad days than we would like lately,
and one too many doctor appointments for the "not so happy reasons".
A sweet friend sent me this poem the other day and it brought tears to my eyes.
Exactly what I needed to hear.
It's so fitting for the awareness outlined this month.
"Daddy please don't look so sad,
Momma please don't cry.
Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus,
And he sings me lullabies.
Please try not to question God,
Don't think He is unkind.
Don't think he sent me to you
And then changed his mind.
You see I'm a special child,
I am needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave Him,
A product of your love.
I'll always be there with you,
So watch the sky at night.
Look for the brightest star
And know that's my halo's brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost
That mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers,
I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a gentle breeze
from a gentle wind that blows.
Know that it is me
Planting a kiss upon your nose.
When you see a child playing
And your heart feels a tug,
Don't be sad mommy,
That's just me giving you a hug.
So daddy don't look so sad.
And momma please don't cry.
I'm in the arms of Jesus
And he sings me lullabies!"
For those sweet people who have been affected by this cause take comfort that you are never alone in the process.
