Houston is finally cool enough to be in sweaters and we are pretty happy about it.
Don't get me started on my obsession of a newborn in a sweater.
Luke, you are killin me!

Ry got his very first REAL set of golf clubs!
They are so tiny!!
He is in heaven trying them out and still getting used to the weight of them!
( He is used to his plastic clubs that we have made him hit since he could walk HA )
Watching him carry his little golf bag around is the cutest thing!

Although the fact that he can hit the golf ball with better form than I do at 3 years old is a little depressing! HA
My husband is in heaven with his little golf buddy.

And to throw in a photo of Luke in the bath this morning.
Because I could squeeze those little toes and cheeks of his all day!
Also, he got his 2 month shots on Monday ( insert mommy tears! ) even though he's not 2 months until the end of November. We are headed out on a plane this weekend ( AHHH! ) and I wanted to make sure he was vaccinated before flying! Anyways, point being, he was 10 pounds 13 oz at his appointment! Packin on the milk child!

In the words of Ryan… "Oh no! Baby Luke you stink AGAIN!"

"Mommy I love my baby Luke so much"

"Mommy, baby Luke sleeps all day, why is he still yawning?"

We went with our good friends to a pottery place and Ryan chose a car to paint.
Not sure if painting is our strong suit over here HA but he made one cool looking tie-dye car.

Daddy comes home and saves the day. #always

Tummy time. He hates it so much and we can't help but just laugh at how frustrated he gets HA
Also, side note that Luke slept 5 hours and 45 minutes straight the other night and it was glorious!

"It's the circle of LIFE" ( Please sing the song in your head when you look at this picture )
SIMMBBBAAA.
( one of my favorite movies of all time )

We took Ry to feed the ducks over the weekend and he was lovin life.
On the way to the lake we stopped at the grocery store and bought him a whole loaf of bread to make for a long time of entertainment.
Aaron and I are pretty sure by the end of it Ry ate more bread than the ducks did HA

ANNNDD My little sidekick lately.
Ryan goes to preschool twice a week and although I miss my 3 year old buddy, I love having one on one time with my little Luke.

We were walking the mall this weekend as a family and while trying to squeeze our double BOB stroller through doors and around crowds of people ( That thing is a beast I tell you! So massive! )
Aaron and I just looked at each other and laughed… This is totally our new normal and we are pretty happy about it.

It feels like yesterday that we were heading to our 20 week ultrasound to find out the gender of our second baby.
As soon as the ultrasound tech pulled up the computer screen and I saw his little face,
I saw "a little Ryan". I immediately knew for sure it was another boy.

The chin, eyes, nose, face shape, everything was screaming "Ryan."
I told Aaron, "either it's a girl that looks just like Ryan or another boy." HA
Sure enough ANOTHER BOY.

Regardless of the fact that I had plenty of "boy clothes" at home that Ryan wore when he was little, we headed straight to baby gap to buy an outfit to celebrate.
( Because I have convinced my husband that shopping is a necessity when celebrating ;)

While looking at outfits at Baby Gap, this little cloud one-piece caught my eye.
It made me smile and I told Aaron "this is the one".
The "cool dude cloud outfit."

Fast forward to today… As I got it out for Luke to wear for the first time this morning, I had a flashback of the emotional high we were on that day imagining what it would feel like to add another BOY to the mix.
( and me feeling slightly scared and inadequate as a "boy mom"HA )

Now here we are, with our little Luke.
So happy he's here.
And gosh does this outfit describe Luke perfectly. Just a "chill, happy, content little babe."

So moral of the story.. Some outfits have a meaning behind them. Like this cool dude cloud outfit. ^ :)
Luuuuke!!! My heart is bursting.

PS. He is just starting to smile ( not just while he sleeps! ) and it's kind of killing me! THESE BOYS!

We woke up to a stormy gloomy day ( and when I say stormy I mean like "Texas Rain" - CRAZY storm! ) - Perfect mood setter for Halloween.

For weeks leading up to Halloween, Ryan has been asking to wear his shark costume.
I would let him wear it for a morning here and there and then would make him take it off when we went to the grocery store ETC, and he would cry when he had to take it off. ( I have never seen a child love a costume so much in my life! HA )
However, I kept telling him that on Halloween he could wear it ALL DAY LONG and I wouldn't make him take it off.
So to my word, he woke up bright and early Halloween morning and his costume was on by 8 AM.

"Halloween is my favorite" - Ryan's quote of the day.

I mean really... candy and costumes?! What more could a toddler want!?
( HA my husband and I have been known to be Halloween Scrooge's in the past so this year we stepped up our game for Ry. What you won't do for your kids right?! ;)

I made Ryan THESE pumpkin pancakes for breakfast with added orange food coloring ;)
He was in heaven. He was so excited to have a "SPOOKY BREAKFAST" as he called it.

A couple weeks ago we carved pumpkins with our good friends and what do you think Ryan chose to carve…

You guys, the shark has seriously taken over our house this past month HA.
( and yes we carved his pumpkin he painted a few weeks back )

And not to forget our little Nemo.. who slept most of his first Halloween.

The torrential down pour that hit us earlier in the day cleared out for trick or treating- thank goodness!! We walked around the neighborhood with my in-laws and some good friends.
The kids had to get a picture in front of the "minion house" as Ryan calls it.
( my husband can do a ridiculously good "GRU" ( from Despicable Me ) impression
so we like minions over at our house HA )

Ryan seriously scored on candy.
I may or may not have influenced him on candy decisions when he had the choice of what to choose.
The beauty of being a parent and eating your kids candy when they go to sleep HA ( you want to make sure they get your favorites! )

We had to keep stuffing candy in Luke's carseat to lighten Ryan's bucket because he kept complaining that it was "too heavy" HA ( rough life RY - I don't feel bad for you at all ;)

Ryan is convinced Halloween is the greatest day on earth after Saturday.
He woke up Sunday wanting to do it all over again. HA
Personally, I'm happy it happened but slightly more excited to get into Thanksgiving / Christmas ( MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR! )

Just wait for Christmas child. :)
Hope everyone had a wonderful and SAFE Halloween!
