My little brother is getting MARRIED!!!

I could NOT be more happy for him. I just adore her and I'm so excited for her to officially be part of our fam!

Weddings are my favorite and hers will be a legit fairytale wedding. From the sneak peeks I have seen --- AAAAMMMAZZING! AHH I can't wait!

I flew to Utah this past weekend to help bring to life the most beautiful bridal shower! 

I brought Luke with me because HEY, he's still free on planes and we are taking full advantage!  However, he has never sat still in his entire life. So... talk about a plane ride. 3 hours could not have come soon enough! We got stuck at the window seat both ways - OHHH bless that middle seater who had Lukey stepping all over them trying to turn "off and on" the light up above us THE WHOLE AIRPLANE RIDE. They make those little buttons overhead WAYY too tempting. Flight attendant call button was pushed one too many times..

Needless to say, we made it and the weekend went WAYY too fast!

Let's talk about these cake pops ^^ Recipe -- HERE.

They were perfection.

My mom and aunt ( they are sisters ) have serious SKILL in the kitchen and I tried learning their ways!

( Also side note that my aunt is a talented cook and recently started a cooking blog ( trust me you want to try her recipes and see her before and afters of her kitchen remodel ( AMAZING! ) anyways she posted the recipe for these cake pops ^^ and tricks and tips they learned HERE. )

My brother is lucky to be getting one awesome second fam! ^^

The whole thing was just beautiful!

The wedding is in 11 days and I'm flying back by myself to Utah with both kiddos this Sunday. ( insert slightly stressed out face -- Ryan clearly was the best traveler as a babe and Luke is from another planet! )

Luke better start practicing to sit still or it's going to be a rough month of plane rides HA! ;)

Regardless, so much happiness for these upcoming weeks!

HI!!! After a long BREAK -- I charged my camera for the first time in MONTHS the other day and it made me so sad!
Take TOO many pictures! Sometimes life gets busy and pictures get put on the back burner but that's what makes the memories last!

This is going WAYY back so I can remember these things down the road!

My sis came to stay with us for a weekend - my kiddos are obsessed with her so they were in heaven.

My little sis got her LDS Church mission call to Arequipa, Peru! ^^

We had 2 weeks of bliss as a family before my sister left on her mission --We spent Christmas in the beautiful Utah SNOW!

We spent lots of time in park city at our cabin  ^^ and Ryan ice skated for the first time!

We all froze during family pictures! Luke never smiled once but we made it through with snacks HA!
Love this fam of mine!

A few things to note:
Ryan at 4 is learning to read at preschool ( in denial he is old enough for this! )
and is still obsessed with all things sharks and dancing. I could watch his little moves all day.
Currently learning the Whip and Nae Nae and it's hilarious!

Luke is 17 months old - crazy as ever.
He's my "no fear child" and Aaron and I worry daily about his low pain tolerance. haha!
His newest trick is walking off the COUCH at full speed.
He wears his little red boots almost daily and it's hilarious watching him roam around in those babies!

Love these kiddos and their identical look but completely opposite personalities!

We keep busy as ever with all things kids, Aaron's job, my job, church responsibilities and training for my FIRST FULL marathon this Saturday! Ready to be done with the 4:45 AM runs ;)
But ahh Life is so good! I find myself each day wishing time would slow down! It all goes too fast!

Thanks for being patient with my delayed posts and for all the sweet messages I have received about blog related stuff lately! Truly, you guys are the best!

2017 is going to be a BIG year and we are so ready for it!

How can you not!?
My wonderful husband goes right along with it ;)
I feel like my "inner-Utah self" has to be buying a pumpkin and wearing fall clothes!
Seeing people run around in shorts at a pumpkin patch just doesn't sit well with me! HA!
The nights are luckily cooling down slightly.. but days are still over 90 degrees here in Houston!
Needless to say, we waited until the sun went down and the weather was cool enough, dressed for fall for about an hour ;) and the boys were in heaven!



I say this every year but holidays with kids... THE BEST.
I will be honest and say that Aaron and I weren't the biggest Halloween lovers..
until we had kids.
Now because of them, the excitement of the season is totally getting to us!
I am 99 percent sure Aaron was actually having fun while carving a shark pumpkin with Ry last night haha! ;)

Luke walked around pointing to every pumpkin saying "ball!" while Ryan exclaimed multiple times,
"Halloween is the best day ever!"
Wait until Christmas buddy! Keeps getting better and better ;)
