Ryan's First Birthday Par-TEE.

I was on pinterest one day and saw an idea of a golf first birthday.
I called my mother-in-law and told her "we could seriously make this come to life!"
We printed off a couple pictures of ideas, and boom we were off.
Hours of cutting pasting and planning and here's what we came up with.

The "Welcome" table!
We had a "Guess the # of Tees" along with party hats for all the kiddos.
The winner of the "Tees" got a sleeve of golf balls ha.

To make the "birthday boy's" hat a little different than the rest we added a cute Navy ribbon while doing the rest white.

This was the one part of planning that got me pretty teary eyed.
I made a photo banner of Ryan's 12 months of life.
I can't believe it's been a year.

And for our favorite part of the party planning:

The main table of goodies.

This cake was just as good as it looks.

"Caddy Buffet" included Hersheys, Hershey nuggets, jelly bellies, m&M's, kitkats, Apple Peachios, Green apple licorice, and green Rock candy suckers.

The "Doughnut Hole in Ones"
(We bought doughnut holes and frosted them to look like golf balls and stuck them on tees.)

The cutest sugar cookies.

And the cutest Cup- Cakes.

On to the "19th Hole" restaurant.
The food!

Hummus as the "sand trap"

Thanks to Chick-fi-La we had "Birdie Bites"!

The "Watering Hole".

And for my next favorite part of planning.
Mr. Ryan's "Pro Shop"

All the kids got to take home a golf set, visor, golf ball and towel.

"Thank you for coming to my par-tee!"

Ryan didn't really know what was going on when his cake got brought out.

(Ok lets be honest he had no idea what was going on the entire party)
I have sung "Happy Birthday" to him every month on his "month birthday" ha so the singing didn't even phase him. I'm glad this time it was actually HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

He tried to grab the fire on the candle,
so before we had a really big catastrophe,
daddy blew the candle out and baby went at it.

Cake and frosting was everywhere.
I think he like throwing it more than he did eating it.

Happy 1st birthday to our little pro!
Obviously I don't know what it's like to have a little girl, but having a little boy is pretty much the best thing ever. I'm so in love!

Thanks to all who came and celebrated with us!
We love you sweet boy!!
