My sweet husband captured a true "mommy moment"
Ryan's been a little sad lately.
He is already a MEGA "mommy's boy" but Aaron says this week he's been a "mommy's boy on steroids". HA
There is something about them crying for "mommy"....
and depending on YOU to make it all feel better,
It's a really really good feeling.
After a few kisses,
and a lot of "it's going to be ok,"
he will feel better.
Eventually. HA
Motherhood definitely has its days.
I am constantly learning about myself and trying each day to be the best mom I can be.
This week has definitely tried my patience.
This week has definitely tried my patience.
Even though I've probably made a lot of mistakes in the process, these moments make you feel like you did something right.
And it makes everything worth it.
My favorite little girl stayed with us for the Halloween weekend and we loved every minute.
( more to come on that later )
Happy Monday and Happy November!
Gosh I love this time of year!
It's actually beautiful weather here and we are loving this 70 degree heaven!
Love Ryan in that sweet bow tie!
ReplyDeleteAwww, those are truly the best moments!!! I hope he feels better :)
ReplyDeleteWhenever my little guy has these moments I make sure to tell him I understand that being little is hard sometimes. I hate it when he is upset or hurt but being able to make it better is pretty dang special. I have a mommy's boy too and I love every single minute of it.
ReplyDeleteYou two make me melt!!! Nothing like a mama and her mamas boy!! I'm a sucker, obviously;)
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your sweet blog. I am to a mama to a baby boy. He is 16-months, almost 16-month that is. Funny how we count their age to the week/day. There is nothing better than being a mama to a boy but then again I've never had a little girl. Your little man is too cute!
ReplyDeleteHe has the best momma x
ReplyDeleteSO great that Aaron caught these moments for you! I get it, and I can't wait to hear how your halloween went with Ryan! (my favorite part with Bronx was hearing him say "trick or treat!"...or something like that!)
ReplyDeleteSweetest mommy and son duo EVER!
ReplyDeletethese are the cutest! props to aaron for capturing the moment!
