Law School GRAD.

5 years of undergrad and 3 years of Law School later
and he is GRADUATED!

On our first date Aaron told me he had made up his mind and he wanted to become a lawyer.
I didn't think the day would ever come:)
But seriously.
Graduation day was completely surreal and there were so many smiles.

Rewind to Saturday May 17th, the day before graduation, and Aaron finishing his FINAL final.
What do you do after you finish Law School?

Apparently Aaron felt like putting his swimsuit on and doing a celebratory back flip.

The late nights seemed long but the somehow the years flew.
I can't. believe. it's been 3 years.
I felt so old when Aaron's name was called on the stand.
With the exception of the bar in 2 months, we have officially entered into "real life".
Kinda sad to be closing the "student chapter" of our lives!

It's a little emotional to look back on the last 3 years.
We did it.
A HUGE thank you to our parents and family for all the love and support.
We feel so blessed to have had this opportunity and to have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy along the way.
Life is so good.
I am so proud of him and feel so lucky to be his wife.

What's next!?
Aaron will be taking the bar the end of July.
He is currently in study mania mode (it never ends!) and July 31st will be one glorious day!
Aaron is working with his dad at his dad's law firm and will continue to do so once the bar is over.
We will be staying down south in the Houston area and are currently looking for our first home!
ahhhhhhh.
Kind of exciting!
I think it's every father's dream to work with their son, and we feel so grateful for this opportunity.

So long Law School!
Thanks for the laughs, the tears, the stress and the few happy moments! Ha
Just kidding. You changed life for the better!

Onto the next chapter of life!

  1. Congratulations!!! Nearly three years ago, my husband was graduating with a master's degree and starting his first "real" job. We were house hunting and got pregnant with our second baby. I can totally relate to that feeling of change and euphoria! It feels surreal. I hope you enjoy your transition into "real adulthood" as much as we did.
