34.3 weeks

Dress: Pink Blush Maternity ( I love their DARLING maternity clothes! )

And just like that, we are in the HOME STRETCH of pregnancy.

Babe is the size of a butternut squash.

This babe MOVES like crazy. He's up and down and all around 24/7. With Ryan's pregnancy I could always count on him moving like crazy at night time and feeling him a few random times throughout the day.

However, with this little one, I don't think he ever sleeps.
I wake up to his little hiccups ( almost every day )
I go on a morning walk with him somehow thinking he wants to work out with me and he starts his kick box workout.
And when I try and nap in the afternoon when Ryan naps, he is like a hamster going around his ball,
churning my tummy like crazy- making me border line sick to my stomach.
As soon as night time hits, he's on his 15th ball run for the day.
Seriously, he never sleeps.

At least I'm constantly reassured he's having fun in there. :)

Braxton hicks are coming more frequent.
slightly scary and slightly exciting - AH!
With Ryan's pregnancy my water broke at 38 weeks and I never got to experience the whole "contraction thing" until I was hooked up to a hospital bed, so this is a little new. :)

Aaron has a contraction app downloaded on his phone - prepared husband.
I told him he's not allowed further than 30 minutes away from me for the next month and a half. HA

Ry is so proud to tell everyone he's getting a baby brother.
Here are a few phrases he has thrown out at the dinner table lately.

"I teach baby brother to talk like this - gooo, goo, gah, gah"
( not sure where he came up with that HA )

"I teach baby brother how to go pee-pee in the potty"
( awesome topic for dinner - thank you for wanting to take the potty training off our hands )

"Mommy when baby brother comes I let him wear my lightening mcqueen big boy pants"
( good to know your willing to share your underwear child )

"Mommy, when baby brother comes, will he play sharks with me? I only want him to be the hammerhead shark."
( in other words, he doesn't want to share any other types of sharks he owns HA )

"Mommy why is your belly is getting so big.. why??"
( well, thank you Mr. Ryan )

"How many more "sleeps" until baby brother gets here?"

Ryan thinks this baby is coming out ready to play some baseball with him.
This infant stage will be a slight shock to Ryan's system. HA

Nursery is coming along, slowly but surely!

Shaving your legs gets really fun at this stage of pregnancy.
These final weeks are starting to bring back a lot of memories and forgotten uncomfortableness HA

I missed my doctors appointment this past week and went the next day thinking it was then instead of the day before.
SO awful.
Pregnancy brain totally exists.
Luckily they were able to squeeze me in and I heard his little heartbeat.

It's feeling SO REAL all of the sudden.
I cannot wait to have him in my arms!
( Ok maybe I need a few more weeks to get ready, so keep cooking little one! )

  4. Love all your posts!! It is going to be so amazing to be able to look back at posts like this in 5, 10, 20 years. I have been hoping for a post on your brother's wedding, which looked amazing from IG. Any chance you'll have time to squeeze that in before baby boy arrives. You look amazing!
